For each new assemblage, I start with a clear idea and parts and pieces I specifically fabricate for the work. Yet a spontaneous “design and build” process is progressively driving my time in the studio - - as the interacting "fragments" reveal an abundance of new ideas and configurations. My reason to work has become to connect to that energy and orchestrate a newly personalized and animated sense of wholeness.
